Tiny Sketch of Laurie - original oil pastel portrait

This tiny little sketch - about 4 1/2 x 3" on Strathmore 403 - was all about getting something down in a hurry.  Trying to work on seeing color, too.  There was no drawing involved and really, it was kind of freeing to do.  I know that's probably old hat to most of you, but I'm such a drawer (is that the right word?).  Kind of fun to just start out with colors I think it's especially fun to work with unsharpened oil pastels - makes things pretty loose.  Love those oil pastels - such a joy to work with!  Thanks for looking!
